Unlike larger commercial parks, our site offers a relaxed atmosphere where you are free to enjoy your stay without unnecessary restrictions or crowds.

Our site sits at the point where the River Kent becomes tidal. A private footpath leads directly to the estuary bank, where you can experience the natural beauty of the area and spot the many birds and wildlife that call it home.

The River Kent, known as the fastest-flowing river in England, cascades from its source in Kentmere through the historic market town of Kendal before reaching Morecambe Bay at nearby Arnside.

Surrounded by open countryside, Marsh Farm is a haven for wildlife. Oystercatchers, lapwings, and other wading birds nest in the surrounding grasslands, making the area especially popular with walkers, photographers, and nature lovers.

Explore further afield with a visit to nearby Levens Park, where you can see the River Kent at its free-flowing best and meet the famous Bagot goats. Along the riverbanks, dippers feed in the fast-moving water while sandpipers nest in the sheltered banks.

There is also an excellent choice of local pubs, cafés, and restaurants nearby, serving traditional Cumbrian food and locally brewed ales. The village of Milnthorpe, just 1.5 miles from the site, offers all the essential amenities you would expect from a small town, while the historic market town of Kendal — known as the “Gateway to the Lake District” — is only a short 10-minute drive away.
